Bardia National Park

Bardia National Park is a protected area in Nepal. It was established in the year 1988. This reserve was initially name as Royal Bardia National Park, but due to political change in the country the word Royal was excluded from the name since then. The reserve covers an area of 968 sq km in total.

Koshi Tappu Wildlife Reserve

The Koshi Tappu Wildlife Reserve is a large protected area established in the year in the terai region of eastern Nepal. It covers an area of 175 sq km in total. The protected area lies in the Sunsari, Saptari and Udaypur districts between the altitudes 75 to 81 m. It can be accessed from Mahendra Highway.
