Manaslu Larke Pass Trek is among the most chosen trekking destinations in Manaslu region packages. Larkya La pass cuts the Manaslu massif and is a recently opened area for tourism in Nepal. The area is quite untouched and is rapidly gaining popularity since last few years. This trek offers finest trekking experience in the Nepalese Himalaya wilderness.
The trek starts from a scenic drive to Gorkha. We can also directly drive to Arughat instead. Then we trek to the Budi Gandaki River through deep gorges that lies between Hiuchuli and Ganesh Himal.
The trekking route takes you through steep trails. However, the greetings provided by the first view of Mt Manaslu are worth the effort. Our goal to Larkya La Pass gets its support from the amazingly beautiful landmarks of the area. The views of Manaslu and several other neighboring mountains seem as if you are through the most beautiful scene you have ever seen.
The further part of the trek takes you through steep descend into the valley of Marshyangdi. The walking through the banks of rivers and passing through villages of ever smiling and friendly people takes us to Besisahar. This particular trek can be continued with other trekking routes or you can get back to the Kathmandu Valley.
Itinerary for Larke La Pass trek
Day 01: Arrive in Kathmandu and transfer to your hotel to stay overnight
Day 02: Full day Kathmandu Valley Guided tour. Our Guide will take you around Kathmandu to show its background and history, visiting temples, monasteries and colorful city itself will give you a picture of Nepal.
Day 03: Drive from hotel to Arughat [700m/2,296ft] that takes 8-9 hours. Hotel overnight
Day 04: Trek from Arughat to Machakhola [930m/3,051ft]. Camp or teahouse overnight
Day 05: Trek from Machhakhola to Jagat [1,617m/5,305 ft] which takes about 6:30 hours
Day 06: Trek from Jagat to Gomna, takes approx. 7:30 hours. Camp or teahouse overnight
Day 07: Trek from Gomna to Jarang, takes about 7:30 hours. Camp or teahouse overnight
Day 08: Trek from Jarang to Rupinala Phedi [4,643m/15,232ft] takes approx. 7 hours. Camp or teahouse overnight

Day 12: Trek from Dudh Pokhari to Ninghalaghari [4,590m/15,059ft], takes 7 hours. Camp or teahouse overnight
Day 13: Trek from Ninghalaghari to Chyadi Danda [3,600m/11,811ft], takes 7 hours. Camp or teahouse overnight
Day 14: Trek from Chyadi Danda to Tonje [1,850m/6,069ft] takes 7 hours. Camp or teahouse overnight
Day 15: Trek from Tonje to Duwar [975m/3,198ft], takes 6 hours. Camp or teahouse overnight
