Annapurna Sanctuary Trekking Itinerary
Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu airport and transfer to hotel. Stay overnight at hotel.
Day 02: Full day of sightseeing in Kathmandu valley that includes visit to the Hindu temple complex at Pashupatinath (a UNESCO World Heritage Site), the biggest Buddhist Stupa at Boudhanath, Monkey Temple, the Swyambhunath (2000 years old Stupa) and visit Patan city of fine arts. Stay overnight at hotel.
Day 03: Drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara> takes about six hours. Stay overnight at hotel in Pokhara.
Day 04: Drive from Pokhara to Nayapul.From Nayapul you begin your trek to reach Tikhedhunga.
Day 05: Trek from Tikhedunga to Ghorepani: A gentle climb through pasture and cultivated fields as you climb up you walk up besides the cascading river through refreshingly cool oak and rhododendron forest.
Day 06: Trek from Ghorepani toTadapani: Early morning walk up to Poonhil, One of the best Himalayan view points in Nepal, which provides a unobstructed view of the high Himalaya and start our trek to Tadapani, A short early morning climb to the Deurali pass for a spectacular panorama over Dhaulagiri and the Annapurna, Trail descends steeply through dense moss-covered forest rich with bird life to Tadapani which provides you a close up sunset view.
Day 07: Trek from Tadapani to Chhomrung : The trail drops down form Tadapani, through dense rhododendron forest. Stay at Chhomrong(2040m) towering above the villages is the mighty peak of Annapurna south, with the Fishtail facing it across the valley.
Day 08: Trek from Chhomrong to Dovan : Chhomrong to Dovan: We walk through the forest of Kuldighar. The track winds steeply up through deep bamboo and rhododendron forest to the village of Dovan
Day 09: Trek from Dovan to annapurna sanctuary : A trek of the narrow Modi khola valley will bring you almost to the base of the ABC. Here you will spend a day gazing away at the snow covered peaks above and the beauty of the landscape around.
Day 10: Trek from annapurna sanctuary to to Bambo: After having breakfast we trek down to Bambo, it takes more or less 5 hours walk to arrived Bambo.
Day 11: Trek from Bambo to Jhinudanda: Enjoy a natural hot springa at Jhinu danda stay overnight there.
Day 12: Trek from Jhinudanda toTolka : close up view of Mount Fishtail and Annapurna South.
Day 13: Trek Tolka to Pokhara: looking around pokhara.
Day 14: Fly or drive back to Kathmandu.
Day 15: Final departure, transfer to airport
