The Panchase Poon Hill Trek route gives you the charm of magnificent views of Himalayas. You get to walk through the forest of Rhododendron. Also you can catch glimpses of the wild lives that have been preserved from being extinct. The beautiful landscapes and views of sunrise and sunset just leave you over-whelmed. The Panchase Hill is the highest hill in this entire region. The trek takes you to an altitude of 2,510m high above the sea level. This hill lies in the south-western part of the Pokhara City touching the Kaski border in the east, Parbat on the west and Syangja on the south. Panchase Hill is a religious site where people from far away visit the site especially during occasions. In the recent days, Panchase Development Committee has been formed in order to develop and preserve the site. Panchase Hill is being reformed to Pancha Dham in the upcoming days that will make the site holier and more famous than ever before.
This trekking site is not only rich in cultural heritages but also in natural beauties. The wonders of nature have been scattered all over the Panchase Hill that has made this place more colourful than any other trekking destinations. Being the highest hill in the region, the views from the top just leaves the trekker mouth open-wide. Long panoramic views of the Himalayas, Green Valleys and Blue skies are just over-whelming.
This trek is categorized under moderate range. It’s just easy trekking. Anyone who is physically fit can go for this trek. You do not need to worry about altitude sickness.
Itinerary for Panchase Poon Hill Trek
Day 01: Arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport [1,338m/4,89ft] and pick up you by our private vehicle and transfer to the hotel to stay overnight
Day 02: Sight-seeing day in Kathmandu. Back to hotel in the evening and stay overnight
Day 03: Drive/Fly from Kathmandu to Pokhara [827m/2,713ft]. Six hours’ drive or 30 minutes flight. Hotel overnight
Day 04: Trek from Pothana Deurali to forest camp about 5 hours then Camp or teahouse overnight
Day 05: Trek from Forest Camp to Low Camp. Camp overnight
Day 06: Sightseeing Day. Camp overnight
Day 07: Low camp trek to High camp about 4/5 hours then overnight at camp
Day 08: Exploration day. Camp overnight
Day 09: High camp trek to Siding [1760m/5,774ft] about 5 hours then overnight at camp
Day 10: Siding trek to Mardipul [1,000m/3,280ft] about 5 hours then overnight at camp
Day 11: Mardipul trek to Hemja (Milanchowk) [671m/2,201ft] about 4 hours then drive back to Pokhara. Hotel overnight
Day 12: Pokhara – Kathmandu, evening culture show and Nepali dinner. Overnight at hotel
Day13: Free day in Kathmandu and enjoy evening culture show and Nepali dinner. Overnight at hotel
Day 14: Final departure
