Shamanism Tour in Nepal is especially designed to explore and gain knowledge to one of the most traditional healing techniques of mankind. Shamanism is known to be continued through thousands of years as healing and curing on the basis of psychological techniques. Experts who practise the ideas are known as Shames. With a different viewpoint, they are known to be the first psychologists as well as psychotherapist. With similar kind of healing techniques, the Shames are often confused with priests and doctors too.

Sex and drugs are two of the major fields where youth of the country lose their control over age. But also they are the two pillars of a primordial religion known as Tantra. Tantra is a movement that transcends sectarianism. It is involved in Hindus, Buddhism and Shamanism too. During the tour, you are provided with an opportunity to be participant observer of all of these three traditions. You are allowed to the exposure of these traditional practices in some form or the other. You will be able to gain knowledge about how these pre-modern orientations will be integrated in a post-modern way of style.

Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival Upon arrival in Kathmandu Airport you will be warmly greeted by our representatives and you will be transferred to your hotel. Stay overnight in hotel

Day 02: Sightseeing tour of Kathmandu valley [1,338m/4,389ft]. Overnight stay at hotel

Day 03: After breakfast in the morning, drive to Helambu Helambu [2,819m/9,249ft] for about 3 hours. Explore the mountain views and sunset. Overnight at a teahouse in Helambu village to explore Shamanism

Day 04: Visit Sherpa village and explore the culture of Sherpa people in Helambu. Short hike to Yangrima Hill and overnight at home to explore shamanism

Day 05: After having breakfast, drive to Dhulikhel [1,484m/4,869ft]. Overnight at hotel in Dhulikhel

Day 06: Early in the morning sunrise view from Dhulikhel along with high beautiful mountains. Drive back to Bhaktapur for sightseeing and return back to Kathmandu. Overnight at Hotel in Kathmandu

Day 07: Final departure
