After that, passing through wonderfully cultivated golden fields of rice and paddy to the lower regions of Dobhan.
The Tamur River is a major river in the Eastern region of Nepal that begins from the area close to Kanchenjunga region. The Tamur River and the Arun River meet the Sunkoshi River at Tribenighat that drains the Mahabharat Range. This region is one of the major tributaries of the Sapta Koshi River system. The system is composed of seven large rivers among which the Tamur is one of them. After a junction of all the seven rivers, the combined enormous river flows through the Chatra Gorge to the South.
Rafters usually choose one of the tributaries of the Sapta Koshi River system. The rapid and current of these rivers are highly admired for rafting and kayaking. These rivers provide a thrilling experience to rafters and they have always left positive remarks to their trip in any of the regions of the country.
