Mount Expedition is one of the most famous and most demanded activities in the tourism industry of Nepal. Adventure lovers have always admired the expedition routes of this country. This activity is however a pleasant as well as adventurous one. Nepal has been the favourite destination for mountain climbers because of the beautiful geographical design of the country.

Nepal is rich in geographical diversity. The varieties of altitudes provide mountaineers a wide range of options. Mount Everest, world’s highest mountain, lies in the lap of this country with a height of 8,848 meters. This mountain rewards the country with the name “Roof of the World”. Along with Mount Everest, this country owns eight mountains among the ten highest mountains in the world. In addition to this, there are altogether 14 mountains that are above 8,000 meters and 1,300 mountains that are above 6,000 meters in height. These reasons make this country a very suitable one for mountain expedition. The favourite mountains for mountaineers are among Mt Everest [8,848m/29,028ft], Mt Kanchenjunga [8,586m/28,169ft], Mt Lhotse [8,516m/27,939ft], Mt Makalu [8,463m/27,765ft], Mt Cho Oyu [8,201m/26,906ft], Mt Dhaulagiri [8,167m/26,794ft], Mt Manaslu [8,163m/26,781ft] and Mt Annapurna [8,091m/26,545ft].

A special permit is required in order to climb these mountains. Nepal Mountaineering Association [NMA] is authorized to grant permits for climbing the mountains of Nepal. Our team is an active member of the NMA and Nepal Tourism Board [NTB] and make arrangements for mountain climbing in Nepal.
